Whether the nominee works in retail, manufacturing, hospitality, public service,not-for-profit or a charitable organization, the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce would like to reward our 'Stars'!

Nominate as often as you wish. Eligible nominations accepted from any business within the boundaries of the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce.  You do not have to be a North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce member to nominate, to be nominated, or to win any prizes.  Nominations submitted throughout the Extra Mile program will be reviewed and scored by the committee members to determine monthly and final winners.

Contest Rules and Disclaimers

  1. All nominations become property of the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce (NBDCC).
  2. Judges will be evaluating nominees based on the description of service on the nomination form which outlines: i) Quality of service; timelines, money saving suggestions, team leadership and going beyond the 'call of duty' ii) Number of nominations received in current month; iii) Number of nominations received in prior months.
  3. The decisions of the judges are final and not subject to appeal.
  4. Contest is open to all employees working in the North Bay and District area. Only employees of NBDCC members in good standing are eligible for the grand prize.
  5. Citizens and visitors are eligible to make nominations
  6. The nominee clearly demonstrates outstanding customer service through the purchase of product of service
  7. Employee nominations are limited to one nomination per month by individual
  8. Self nominations will not be considered
  9. Nominator information must be completed for verification purposes in order for entry to be valid
  10. Winners will be notified by e-mail or telephone, but we reserve the right to publish winners' names on our website and newsletter.
  11. All prizes must be picked up within (30) thirty days of the date awarded at NBDCC, 1375 Seymour Street, North Bay, ON.
  12. Contest Prizes will not be mailed out unless otherwise notified.
  13. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible or fails to claim a prize, an alternative winner will be selected.
  14. Winner consents to the use of his/her name and likeness for publicity and commercial purposes without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
  15. Employees, directors and immediate family members of the NDBCC are ineligible for the contest.
  16. The NBDCC reserves the right to withdraw this contest without prior notice or to disqualify any winner.
  17. The NBDCC reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or modify the Contest or Contest rules at any time without notice.
  18. The NBDCC reserves the right to substitute prizes if the occasion warrants so.
  19. The NBDCC its employees, directors and sponsors are not responsible and shall not be liable for: i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or intelligible nominations; ii) telephone, electronic hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; iii) errors in transmission: iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the NBDCC that may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted; v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the contest; or vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest.
  20. Prizes are not negotiable or exchangeable for other prizes.
