The 2nd Annual event, THE SHOW will be happening on Friday, September 30th 2016 at The Grande Event Centre (corner of Main and Wyld). This will include a fashion show featuring the businesses of Downtown North Bay as well as an outstanding selection of pop up shops. There will be a social at 6:00 p.m. at which refreshments and snacks will be served. There will be a cash bar available. The fashion show will start at 7:00 p.m. an pop up shops will remain open until 9:00 p.m.

Changing Workplaces Review Interim Report Contains Options that Could Hurt Employers, Employees, and Contain Rising Costs for Consumers

North Bay, ON. July 27, 2016 – Leading employer groups and the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce are calling on the Government of Ontario to reject several proposals under consideration in the Interim Report of the Ontario Government’s Changing Workplaces Review.  Following the release of the report today, Ontario’s business community is concerned that many of the policy options under consideration by the Special Advisors could have a profound impact on the relationship between employees and employers in every workplace in Ontario, including the Nipissing Region.
